		<description><![CDATA[Great post.  But you should use a different coefficient than .50.  When you factor all the &#039;extra&#039; free throws from technicals, flagrants, and-ones and three-point attempts, only one out of 2.27 free throws most years end in a defensive rebounding opportunity.  

For this reason .44 is usually used to estimate the possession cost of FGA relative to FTA.  TS% uses the .44 coefficient and (FGA + FTA*.44) is sometimes called True Shooting Attempts.]]></description>
