Milwaukee Bucks Win Chart through Game 15

Below is the Bucks Win Chart updated through last night’s really depressing loss to the Detroit Pistons.

The number to concentrate on is not wins produced by each player.  The number to concentrate on is “Win Contribution”.  That number balances wins produced with losses produced, and it accounts for the number of minutes the player is taking up.

Thus, John Salmons has the fifth most wins produced on the team, but he leads the team in losses produced and that’s why he’s the second most harmful player according to Win Contribution.  The most harmful player has been Keyon Dooling, with the third most harmful being Corey Maggette.

By Win Contribution standards, the team has been without its two most valuable players — Delfino and Bogut — for the last two eminently winnable losses.
